The Force Start feature allows you to manually control your MRCOOL mini-split system when automatic functions are unavailable. This feature is useful for troubleshooting or when you need quick cooling.

How to Use Force Start:

1. Locate the Force Start Button:

   • Open the front cover of your MRCOOL unit.
   • Find the small button at the bottom right corner.
     

2. Press the Button:

   • First press: Activates the fan.
   • Second press: Starts forced cooling for 30 minutes, then switches to auto mode at 76°F.
   • Third press: Turns the system off.

When to Use Force Start:

• Quick Cooling: Use when you need immediate cooling without the remote or app.
• Troubleshooting: Ideal for technicians during maintenance.
• Power or Control Issues: Manually activate the system if the remote or app is not functioning.

Additional Tips:

• Default Settings: After 30 minutes, the system will default to 76°F. Adjust as needed.
• Cancel Force Start: Change the mode via the remote, app, or by turning off the unit.
